Smart Governance for Smart Electricity: Moving Forward from the Auditor General's Report

The conference Smart Governance for Smart Electricity: Beyond the Auditor General’s Report was presented by the University of Waterloo and the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western and facilitated by the Council for Clean and Reliable Energy.

The Keynote Address from Jim McCarter, Auditor General of Ontario highlighted pertinent information in the 2011 Annual Report issued by the Office of the Auditor General of Ontario related to the electricity sector. The conference brought together leading experts in the electricity sector from industry, labour, government, and academia to assess and debate policy priorities that could lead to improvements in the performance of Canada’s agencies and crown corporations occurred.
